What Are Family Constellations?
Family Constellations is a powerful therapeutic method that reveals hidden dynamics in families and relationships. Often, we unconsciously carry unresolved patterns from our parents, grandparents, or earlier generations - patterns that can show up as anxiety, conflict, or feelings of being “stuck.”
Through a group or individual constellation, these hidden entanglements come to light in a safe, supportive environment. This creates space for healing, balance, and a fresh way forward.
Who May Benefit from Attending?
Family Constellations can be deeply helpful for anyone who:
Feels blocked in personal growth or relationships.
Struggles with recurring patterns (e.g., repeated breakups, career stagnation, family conflicts).
Experiences unexplained guilt, sadness, or anxiety.
Wants to resolve issues connected to grief, loss, or trauma.
Is seeking deeper self-understanding and inner peace.
You don’t need to have a “serious problem” to attend. Many people come simply out of curiosity and leave with profound insights about themselves and their family connections.
What Kind of Issues Can Be Brought to a Constellation?
Family Constellations are especially helpful for:
Relationship difficulties (partners, parents, children).
Anxiety, depression, or unexplained emotional heaviness.
Addictions or harmful patterns.
Loss, grief, or unresolved family events (miscarriages, separations, estrangements).
Career or financial blocks.
Identity and belonging issues.
Almost any life situation where you feel “something is stuck” can be explored in a constellation.
What Are the Advantages of This Method?
Quick Insights: Unlike traditional talk therapy, constellations often bring immediate clarity.
Healing Beyond Words: Emotions and dynamics are felt and seen in a direct way.
Systemic View: It looks not only at the individual but also at the larger family system.
Shared Experience: In groups, the healing happens not only for the issue holder but also for the representatives.
Many describe the experience as deeply moving, sometimes life-changing.

Roles in a Family Constellation
Facilitator
Guides the process with sensitivity and care.
Creates a safe space for participants.
Helps reveal hidden dynamics without judgment.
Brings the constellation to a place of resolution and balance.
The Issue Holder
The person who brings a personal question or situation.
Shares only as much as feels comfortable (sometimes just a short description is enough).
Observes the unfolding constellation, often gaining powerful new perspectives.
The Representatives
Volunteers from the group who step into roles (family members, emotions, or abstract forces like “fear” or “strength”,etc).
Surprisingly, representatives often experience genuine feelings or insights that mirror real dynamics.
Their role helps reveal truths that are difficult to see otherwise.
What Happens in a Group Family Constellations Session
In a group session, one person — the issue-holder — presents a personal question or difficulty they wish to explore. Other participants are chosen to represent members of their family system and are intuitively placed in the space, creating a “living map” of relationships.
As the process unfolds, representatives begin to feel emotions or sensations that reflect the experiences of those they represent. With gentle guidance, the facilitator helps reveal hidden dynamics and restore balance within the system.
When each member finds their rightful place, a natural movement toward healing and reconciliation occurs. This experience touches everyone in the group. Many participants describe feeling lighter, more connected, and deeply moved by witnessing the healing process.
Family Constellations invites you to see beyond the past. It reveals what has been unseen, opening the way for healing, peace, and love to flow through you and your children .
