Our session

Before the Session
It’s natural to feel a mix of curiosity and nervousness before starting therapy. Many clients worry: “Will I be understood? Will this really help me? What if I don’t know what to say?”
Actually, you don’t need to prepare the “perfect story” or have all the answers. Simply come as you are—whether that means sharing your concerns openly or just bringing a sense that “something isn’t right.”
Before your session, you may notice:
-
Racing thoughts or doubts about opening up.
-
Physical symptoms of anxiety like a tight chest or restless energy.
-
Questions about whether change is truly possible for you.
All of these feelings are completely normal. Therapy is a space where uncertainty is welcome and you are safe to explore whatever is on your mind. Please review and sign the Agreement and send it to me before the first session.
During the Session
In our sessions, you’ll find a warm and safe space where you can share whatever feels important.
Together, we gently explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences to understand what’s really going on inside.
I adapt each session to your needs, using different approaches to support your healing and growth.
You don’t need to force anything. Many clients are surprised by how natural it feels to speak once they realize they are truly heard without judgment.
After the Session
Clients often describe leaving the session with:
-
Relief - a lighter feeling, as if a weight has been lifted.
-
Clarity - a new perspective on a problem that felt overwhelming before.
-
Calmness - a noticeable shift in physical and emotional tension.
-
Hope - a sense that positive change is not only possible but already beginning.
Of course, deeper change takes time, but even a single session can create meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and approach your challenges.
Your Next Step
Starting therapy is not about “fixing” yourself, it’s about discovering the strengths you already have and learning how to use them more fully.
